About Global Warming

by admin

Global warming has continued to be a major international political issue since 1979 when the Rio Summit in 1992 proposed measures to reduce emissions and the Kyoto Summit in December 1997 limit established binding agreements that would commit the United Nations restrictions.

Global warming is the increase in average temperature of the air near the earth’s surface and oceans since the mid-20th Century and its projected continuation (Wikipedia). Such as global warming has become one of the most serious environmental problems, and what should we do to solve this problem?

Recent attention to the problem of global warming is due to the fact that human activities have caused global warming on a scale and at a speed hitherto unknown.

Global air temperature near the earth’s surface has risen from .56 to 0.92 C in the last century. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change concluded that the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-20th Century is very likely the observed increase in concentrations of greenhouse gases through activities such as burning coal and fossil fuels causes, deforestation, overgrazing and land. These activities have the greenhouse effect, which in turn increases the temperature of heated near the earth’s surface and lower atmosphere.

Europe, Japan and the United States agreed in principle to the “Berlin Mandate”, which forces them to reduce their CO2 emissions by 15% below the level of 1990-2010 to adopt. The United States is not entirely convinced that this is the right approach, however, that the U.S. Department of Energy, a study, the “Berlin Mandate” suggests is not done to reduce global emissions of CO2 fully.

In fact, suggests the study, that the “Berlin Mandate” could be the CO2 emissions due to the many energy-intensive sectors would be forced to the United States, Europe and Japan, where the restrictions increase leave applied countries that have either not accepted the mandate or that don ‘t they are strict, and because these countries would probably use less energy-efficient industries, which could contribute the amount of CO2 emissions.

Well, as you can see, the behavior of man has done great damage to the land. If we still have hope on this planet, if we worried about the future of our children, we must strive for the problems we have caused, how to do global warming.
